Mr Awe was a Deputy Registrar in charge of the Division of Pension and Staff Welfare, Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc. Hons) in Political Science in 1991; Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Political Science (Public Administration) in 1997 and Master in Managerial Psychology (MMP) in 2016, all from the University of Ibadan. He started his administrative career as an Administrative Officer 11 in the Personnel Affairs Division of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo in 1993, and rose through the ranks to become Administative Officer 1, Personnel Affairs, 1995-1999; Assistant Registrar, Pension Affairs Unit,1999-2002; Senior Assistant Registrar and Head, Personnel Affairs Division,2002-2005; Principal Assistant Registrar and Head, Division of Personnel Affairs and Academic Affairs,2005-2009 and Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs, Examinations and Records and Pension and Staff Welfare Division respectively from 2009-2021.

Mr Awe has garnered a lot of administative experience in the operation of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), spanning 28 years where his administrative acumen and professionalism were brought to bear in key offices, divisions and committees in the Registry.

He belongs to many professional bodies which include: Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria; Member, Nigerian Institute of Training and Development; Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and Associate Member, Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.

The Registrar has equally attended various capacity building trainings, workshops, seminars and conferences within and outside Nigeria. He has also contributed a chapter to a book on Citizenship Education titled  "A Comparative Study of Nigerian Federal System and Other Federations" in 1998. He is a recipient of the African AGE International Academic Award for Excellence in 2014.

Mr Awe, who is from Ijebu-Jesa in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State, is happily married with children. His hobbies are Reading, Writing, Listening to Music, Sports, Fellowshipping and Farming.
