Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State officially announces the matriculation ceremony of all freshmen in National and Higher National Diploma programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. This event marks the formal admission of freshmen into the Polytechnic’s academic community.

The matriculation ceremony which is the 9th for the Polytechnic, has been scheduled to hold on Thursday 13th March, 2025 in the Polytechnic Auditorium by 10: 00 a.m.

Freshmen are requested to pick up the academic gowns from their respective school officers from Tuesday 11th March, 2025, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. daily.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Dress code:

• Male Students: Neatly dressed
• Female Students: Decent and appropriate dresses

2. Matriculation Register and Oath:

• All freshmen must sign the matriculation Register and the matriculation oath immediately after the ceremony.

3. Academic Gown Collection:

• Academic gowns are available for pick up at the respective School Offices

4. Mandatory Attendance:

• Attendance is compulsory and mandatory for all freshmen in National and Higher National Diploma programmes.

The matriculation ceremony is an essential milestone for all freshmen, it typically signifies the commencement of their academic foray in the Polytechnic.
