The Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State has received the approval of the National Board for Technical Education [NBTE] to commence the admission of students into 7 new programmes.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Prof. Idris Mohammed Bugaje granted the approval through a letter dated 8th April, 2025. This was sequel to the successful conclusion of the recent resource verification by the Board in the Polytechnic from 19th to 21st March, 2025.

The programmes granted accreditation are:

1. ND Estate Management & Valuation
2. ND Library & Information Science
3. ND Mechanical Engineering Technology
4. HND Business Administration & Management
5. HND Civil Engineering Technology
6. HND Biology/Microbiology
7. HND Chemistry/Biochemistry

The Polytechnic received the approval to run two streams in HND Business Administration & Management programme while other programmes received the Board’s nod to run single stream.

Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku, _FCIA, Rector of the Polytechnic thanked members of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and students of the Polytechnic, especially members of the Accreditation Committee for the onerous commitment and efforts that cumulated in the approval to expand the programmes on offer in the institution.

The Rector pledged further commitment to seeing that the Polytechnic maintains its current slew of programmes while efforts will be redoubled to increase the programmes offered by the Polytechnic.
