The Department of Business Administration and Management, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State got approval from the National Board of Technical Education through resources inspection/ accreditation in 2019. The Department houses an academic programme that prepares students for the National Diploma in Business Administration and Management award through which the first set of graduates has been produced as of the 2020/2021 academic session.

Programme Objective
The objective of the Department of Business Administration and Management include, among others:(i) giving the students a solid intellectual foundation for comprehending and delving into issues pertaining to the management and administration of commercial, industrial, public, and other humanitarian organizations. ii. To equip the students with the skills required for recognizing and defining problems and critically evaluating them, particularly as they relate to business operations in the Nigerian economy’s private and public sectors.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT
The general entry requirements into the National Diploma (ND) Programme in the Department of Business Administration and Management are:The WASSCE, GCE ‘O’ Level or the Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) or their equivalent with four credits including English Language and Mathematics (Literature in English and Oral English are not acceptable in place of English Language) and two other subjects from Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agric. Science/Biology.A credit pass in N.B.T.E recognized pre-National Diploma Examination.In addition to the above, candidates seeking direct entry admission into the full-time administration must sit for the Universities and Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) for the admission year and obtain the minimum pass mark approved by the Academic Board for the year. The UTME subjects are the Use of English, Mathematics, and two other subjects selected from Economics, Commerce, Business Methods and Principles of Accounts.
