BIOGRAPHY OF ENGR. A.O. ADETUNMBI

Engr. A.O. Adetunmbi was born on 1st April, 1982 in Ile-Ife. I am a native of Ile-Ife, Ife Central Local Government, Osun State. I had my Junior Secondary School Education in Loyola College Ibadan, Oyo State between 1991 and 1994. I proceeded to School of Science, Ile-Ife, Osun State for my Senior Secondary School Education between 1994 and 1997. I thereafter attended University of Ibadan where I bagged Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering in year 2006. I obtained Master of Science Degree in Engineering Management from University of Benin in 2014. I also obtained Master of Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from University of Benin in year 2021.

I started my working career with defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), Ugbowo Business District, Benin-City, Edo State as a Planning and Construction Engineer between 2008 and 2013. After privatization, I worked briefly with Benin Electricity Distribution Company, Igbara-Oke Business Unit, Akure, Ondo State where I rose to the post of Service Manager before I voluntarily resigned in 2015 to take up a lecturing appointment with Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji as Lecturer II.

I served as Coordinator of the Centre for Foundation and Life Long in the institution between 2018 and 2020. I am presently a Senior Lecturer and Head of Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

I am member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and a registered Engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). I have attended various workshops, seminars and conferences. And also published various research articles in both local and international journals
