As the fast in the holy month of Ramadan concludes, the celebrations of its end also known as Eid-El-Fitr is a witness to the grace and strength that Allah has graciously endowed the faithful.
The fast that the faithful’s engaged in during Ramadan was a call to a steadfast embrace of contrite living and disposition, in the days and months after. We have supplicated for the goodness and providence that only Allah, can provide and we must continue in the understanding that our dispositions, thereafter must birth proof and be true to our supplications during the holy month.
The month long Ramadan fast has now come to an end, this holy injunction from the Al-Quran as delivered to Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) takes place in the ninth month of the Muslim calendar, and Muslim faithful’s everywhere are expected to partake.
We have as a reference, the acts of the prophet of God and leader of all faithful’s, one separated for the will and the dictates of Almighty Allah, the prophet Mohammed (pbuh), who showed total commitment to his Lord, by observing the fast and calling on us to the same observance of the fast during Ramadan.
So, let me on behalf of Council, Management, staff and students of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, celebrate and wish our Muslim brothers and sisters Ramadan Kareem, may the blessings and the graciousness of Allah become your lived experience.
Once again, let me wish the Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji Muslim Community a wonderful Ramadan celebrations.
