Rector’s Charge 25/03/2024
With the conclusion of the matriculation ceremony last week, an important part of the academic odyssey of all matriculated freshmen has commenced, these newly admitted members of our academic community are now a honoured part of the Polytechnic, and they can expect to be included in all academic activities holding in the Polytechnic.
The
resource verification by the National Board for Technical Education comes up
this week, and staff of the Departments facing resource verification are to
ensure no stone is left unturned, in their onerous quest to deliver a
successful verification exercise.
The
following programmes are undertaking resource verification at the National
Diploma level, namely: Estate Surveying and valuation, Library Information
Science and Mechanical Engineering Technology. For Higher National Diploma Business
Administration & Management, Civil Engineering Technology and Science
Laboratory Science with the following options Biology/Microbiology and
Chemistry/Biochemistry.
Management
has expended a significant amount of resource in prosecuting the verification
exercise, and it behooves each staff who are members of the various proposed
programmes to ensure that the verification exercise is a huge success.
Towards
this end the Accreditation Committee led by our able Deputy Rector, Dr. S. A.
Omogbehin are encouraged to go all out an ensure that no gaps exist in the
Polytechnic’s preparation for a successful exercise.
Let
me inform the Polytechnic Community that plans are afoot to increase the number
of programmes offered by the Polytechnic,
ensuring that more programmes are accredited and that new programmes
also come on stream. Let us all join our hands together to ensure that Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji,
Ondo State continues on its upward trajectory.
Do have a pleasant week.
Thank you.
Signed
Dr. Ademola I. Ebeloku FCIA
Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji
